Medium and High Density Fibreboards (MDF and HDF) are formed by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibres. These are combined with wax and a resin binder before applying high temperature and pressure. Production requires board stability, cost-effective adhesive and fast curing time. Meeting all these requirements, PU is the ideal binder for MDF and HDF.
  • High-strength bonding
  • Fast curing
  • Solvent free material
  • No added formaldehyde
  • Moisture and weather resistance
